Michele Zammitti is the Office Manager for Injury Lawyers of NJ. Her wide-ranging responsibilities encompass all the functions that keep the firm’s front and back office operations running smoothly, including managing staff support and other services for the attorneys. In fulfilling the duties of her position, Michele draws on her strong, diverse administrative and organizational capabilities, which include excellent planning, time management, and accounting skills.
Michele’s position includes many different functions, such as intake assistance, accounting, human resources, and event planning. She ensures that the office facilities are maintained, engages vendors and suppliers, and upholds office policies and procedures. Her professional background in business and accounting and the experience she gained through responsible positions in corporate America provide her with exceptional qualities for handling the numerous detailed tasks involved in managing the office.
Michele began her professional journey after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business and accounting at St. John’s University. Her first position after graduation was in the finance and receivables department at Madison Square Garden - MSG Networks, where she handled functions that included reviewing and processing invoices and reconciling statements, in addition to other accounting duties.
After working at Madison Square Garden, Michele accepted a position at the American Stock Exchange, where she worked in the finance department under the CFO. Her responsibilities included handling preparation of reports, maintaining accounting ledgers, and verifying accounts by reconciling statements and transactions. After her tenure at the AMEX, Michele worked at Hewlett-Packard Financial Services, managing the company’s U.S. leasing portfolio. She eventually assumed responsibility for the Canadian leasing portfolio. Michele’s background also includes managing the day-to-day functions, banking, and finances for a family transportation business.
Outside the office, Michele enjoys spending time with her family. They travel together and share in many other activities, including sports. Much of the time, you are likely to find Michele on the baseball field, watching her sons play.
